The We Scare Hunger Food Drive returns to Centennial!
Campaign will run from Oct. 27th to Nov. 5th.
Every Halloween night, youth around the world take action to fight local hunger and poverty by participating in Free The Children’s We Scare Hunger campaign.
Formerly named ‘Halloween for Hunger’, campaign participants collect non-perishable food items, donating the items to local food banks. In 2013 alone, over 1,677,254 lbs of food were collected and donated to local food banks.
We are asking Centennial students to consider participating in the We Scare Hunger campaign. The campaign will run from Oct. 27th to Nov. 5th. There will be boxes available in the front foyer where students may place their donated items.
Together we can help provide meals for our neighbours who are hungry in Waterloo Region!
