Good morning Centennial families,

We are well into the swing of things after Winter Break. Here is an update on some of the many goings-on here at Centennial.

Bananas in Pajamas Day is tomorrow, Thursday January 22. Students are invited wear their PJs to school and bring a banana (if desired) for an ice cream sundae! Sundaes are $2.00.

Subway Sub Day is Wednesday January 28th. Students need to pre-purchase subs at the Tuck Shop before school until Monday January 26th. Order forms available at the Tuck Shop. 6-inch sub and drink $4.75, 12″ sub and drink $7.25.

Yearbooks are on sale this week before school at a cost of $20. The yearbook is in production and will be delivered in June.

Red Maple Club is underway and meets Thursdays at Break B. Interested students should see Ms. Tajabnapis for details.

Basketball Club meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:30. All boys and girls welcome! Club runs until March 5th.

Centennial welcomes unlearn. for a special keynote assembly on Wednesday January 28th. The mission of unlearn. is to provoke thought that leads to positive change.

The West Waterloo Boundary Study has begun. Working group meetings and public meetings are scheduled. Click here for further info.

A reminder that Friday January 30th is a P.D.day. No school for students.
