Pi Day
March 14th is the annual Pi day world wide. The third month and 14th day represent the first 3 digits of Pi (3.14159265….) Over 300 students memorized as many digits of Pi as they were able for our annual Pi day competition. 13 students were able to correctly remember more than 100 digits of Pi. Amber, our top student, memorized 275 digits of Pi! Our top class, 704, memorized 1376 digits in total! Thank you to our local SOBEYS for donating a slice of Pi for each student in 704 and an apple pie for Amber to take home to enjoy!
