In addition, the Stepping Stone Award, awarded to a promising young scientist was won by Adriana C.

Award of Merit is awarded to the top projects in the fair, regardless of age or category. The prize is an all-expense trip to the Canada-Wide Science Fair. Last night this was awarded to Marina I.
