In partnership with the Business and Education Partnership of Waterloo Region (BEP), the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) invites Grade 7 to 12 students and their parents, families, and caregivers to participate in the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) and Skilled Trade Learning Opportunities interactive speaker series. This free virtual series gives students a chance to learn about potential career options and help them plan their future career pathways.

Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) Virtual Information Night for Parents, Families, and Caregivers

The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program helps students in Grade 11-12 specialize, gain qualifications, and plan a career pathway in a specific employment sector while still in high school.

In this webinar, participants will learn from representatives from the WRDSB and Waterloo Catholic District School Board about how SHSM works and how students can get started at their school.
