Centennial would like to welcome our community members and families to attend a virtual presentation on Wednesday, June 1st from 7-8pm focused on “Working together to fight Islamophobia”. We are fortunate to have members of the Coalition for Muslim Women (CMW) Kitchener-Waterloo present this session which will address things such as:
– What is Islam (very brief overview)
– what are examples of Islamophobia
– effects of Islamophobia on individuals and our community
– what we can do as community members to support our Islamic community members and reduce Islamophobia
